Timesheet Management
Timesheet approval is a process is generally carried out at operational management or supervisor level rather than at a payroll administration level. In order to easily and successfully disseminate this responsibility, TimeTEQ provides a unique user interface that is intuitive and user friendly.
This process is no more complicated than signing off on manual timesheets or allocating a variance to schedule, TimeTEQ's colour coded daily and employee timesheet approval screens provide for a single click approval process.
Presenting only the relevant information is key to keeping this process simple. A drill down facility is provided, should additional functions or more detailed information be required.
A comprehensive array of thresholds and preferences can be configured at all organisational levels, including Site, Department and even down to the level of individual employee. These Preferences and thresholds ensure that TimeTEQ automatically deals with 80 - 90% of shift approvals, leaving only a small percentage of exceptions for the supervisor or line manager to deal with.
An example of this may be a late start threshold that rounds payroll time back to the scheduled time if an employee clocks in late up to say a 5 minute threshold or rolls their payroll start time forward to the quarter hour if they were to clock on after the 5 minute threshold.
For environments where time clocking is not required, approval of timesheets by exception to schedule is available as an option within TimeTEQ.
