Rostering

TimeTEQ allows you to generate works rosters that accurately reflect both your business resource needs and your employee preferences, maximising your workforce potential whilst still maintaining the critical balance between meeting service expectations and containing payroll costs.

By creating a rostering tool that works the way you are used to working, it is very easy to disseminate the responsibility of rostering and budgeting to both supervisor or line manager level.

TimeTEQ rostering works to bring together all the information that you or your managers require in order to make an educated decision about having the right number of skilled people in the right place at the right time to handle an accurately forecasted workload.

A default availability profile can be set up for each employee based on when they are available or prefer not to be available. This can be set in 15 minute intervals and as an option employees can update their availability on specific days through the TimeTEQ Employee Self Service Kiosk. This functionality or weekly discipline is designed to minimise the time wasted in trying to contact employees in order to find out whether they are or aren’t available at specific times and on specific days.

Roster building is a four step process:

1. Create roles

2. Select and add employees by either Site, Department and Role with the ability to search and sort by role, rate (least expensive or most expensive) and award classification - example: You may wish to first schedule your salaried staff, then full timers and finally casuals.

3. Allocate individual shifts to employees based on their availability, orallow the system to populate the roster based on a pre set shift plan fixed shift plan. During this process you can pass all shifts through the Award Interpreter in order to obtain accurate costings. A great feature when your managers are rostering to a budget.

4. Publish and print wall schedules. Once a schedule has been published employees can view their schedules on the employee self service kiosk.

Other features include:

The facility to define a schedule by what sites, departments and roles it includes as well as schedule length (number of weeks) and which day of the week the schedule starts
Copy, cut, paste and delete shifts
Add and remove employees as well as move employees to different headers
Employee and Header sort functions
Importing any previous schedule/s to current or future dates (Roster history is stored life to date)
Security levels that allow the schedule build/view and publish functions to be split
